The tour is finished

The  concert in Chile was amazing! The same setlist and people so happy to see Morten live after waiting some hours in the very organized line (by Chilean Fan Club).

After the concert he met all in the front of the hotel where he was and, one more time, with simplicity and joy he took pictures with all and also gave autographs.

All clapped his hands to him, of course and wish he can come back very soon to South America.

After five concerts I just can say thank you to this opportunity to Morten. I could see how he made happy all fans and people of all ages that waited for him.

You are great Morten Harket! We just wish you all the best and hope, from the deep of our hearts, that you come back soon.

PS- Dan and Carl were amazing too with the fans (on the stage and at the hotel). Morten is sympathetic and, of course, has a sympathetic band too.

Morten in Argentina and going to Chile

Argentinean concert was amazing! Argentinean fan clubs were very organized. The set list was  the same as in Brazil. The crowd was so excited and the concert was enthusiastic .

After the concert fans went to the hotel where Morten was  and there he took a picture with each fan and also  give an autograph for each one, always smiling and sympathetic.

It was yesterday. Today he arrived to the airport and took the flight AC 093, what is a great coincidence because it was our flight  too.

In the front door of the airport 3 or 4 fans waited for him and talked to him, took picture and his sign.

After it he went to VIP Waiting Room and was the last to get on board, his was at Executive Class.

What was funny is that the Chilean police dogs came do say “hi” to Morten and he did the same! haha

In the front of Santiago airport there were many fans and they got some pictures and signs  with him.

Morten's Concert in São Paulo

Morten’s concert in São Paulo was amazing! Credicardhall was full of people and Morten was so happy always talking with the crowd, smiling, sympathetic as always.

The setlist was the same as in Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. He starts with his new songs as “Burn money burn”, “The one” Keep the sun away. Then he went to a-ha songs as Crying in the rain, Out of blue comes green, Forever not your, Looking for the wale (this one, according to him, one of his favorites). So, he went to Wild Seed album, playing Los Angeles, Spanish Steps, A kind of Christamas card. After it came My woman (from Letter from Egypt).

In the end he played Stay on these roads, Lay me down  and Foot of the Mountain.

After the concert, at the hotel where he was, he  gave autographs, receive a lot of gifts from the fans  and took pictures with about 50 persons. Always sympathetic, smiling, with patience.

Thanks Morten for this one week you spent in Brazil. I can say for all I see and lived going to the hotels and concerts that Brazilian people just love you and are very anxious for your next visit. We will miss you until then!

Morten e o Rio no jornal norueguês!

O jornal norueguês Dagbladet encontrou o Morten no Rio de Janeiro, no hotel Fasano onde ele ficou hospedado na praia de Ipanema.
Morten falou que tem um grande potencial no país que com certeza ele voltará a tocar para os brasileiros.
Disse também, que não conhece muito música brasileira e que nomes não interessam a ele.
Também foi dito do record de público no Maracanã em 1991 (Rock in Rio) e, foi confirmado que, depois de ir embora para o Chile, ele voltará direto para a noruega para já trabalhar com seu novo CD que será lançado em 2013 (no final).

Morten in Rio and Belo Horizonte

In Rio de Janeiro, 22.09.12, his first concert was amazing! He was so sympathetic making little jokes.

In the first part of the concert he sang his new songs as Burn Money Burn, The one. Then he went to a-ha songs as Crying in the rain, Looking for the wales, Out of Blue Comes Green, Stay on this roads, Move to Memphis. So he went to Wild Seed  album as Los Angeles, When I reach the moon (written in that epoc according to Morten), Wild seed, A kind of Christmas Card and Spenish Steps.

The the third part of the concert it was a mix with Foot of the mountain (song), Lay me down tonight, Lightning.

He came back to the stage twice.

And what was funny that he said that after 25 years he still haven’t learn Portuguese! =P (but He know how to say Thank you in our language).

Citibank Hall where the Rio concert happened was so full with people very happy enjoying a lot the concert.

In Belo Horizonte the concert (songs) was the same but Morten don’t talk so much as in Rio. But, of course, he was sympathetic too, always smiling.

What was funny it that before he sings “Los Angeles” he said that the song was written before of many of them there was born! Hahaha

He is great!

In Belo Horizonte, after the concert, many fans went to his hotel and he took pictures, gave autographs with which one. There were about 20 or 30 people there! He was so kind as always.

By the way, I almost met him at the airport in Rio, I knew that he was there, people were talking about it, but I couldn’t see him because I was bording.

Well, now...Comes São Paulo! And  Buenos Aires and Santiago!

Morten new album 2013

Durante a sessão se perguntas e questões com o Morten no sábado último, ele e seu empresário afirmaram que assim que terminar a turnê agora em setembro na América do Sul ele irá começar a colocar em estúdio o que vem escrevendo. Não é certo ainda, mas provavelmente um novo CD do Morten sairá em outubro ou novembro do ano que vem.
